About

Olga Benito (Barcelona) is a Catalan harpist based in Finland. Olga has studied in ESMuC in Barcelona, under the guidance of Magdalena Barrera, and then furthered her studies in Maastricht Conservatorium with Masumi Nagasawa and in Sibelius Academy with Päivi Severeide and Stefania Saglietti. Currently working as a freelance harpist, Olga regularly collaborates with prestigious orchestras, including Joensuu City Orchestra, Barcelona City Orchestra, Tampere Filharmonia, Kaartin Soittokunta (Finnish Guards Band), Jyväskylä Sinfonia, and the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra. In addition to her live performances, Olga embraced the challenges of the pandemic as an opportunity to explore the world of music recording. Self-taught in microphone techniques and audio editing, she has since expanded her creative horizons by producing her own recordings. Her work is now available on Spotify and other streaming platforms, bringing her artistry to a global audience. Get in touch!

Lessons

Harp lessons for all levels and all ages starting from 6!I have been teaching since 2011, and offer dynamic lessons to different levels and ages. Lessons are completely personalized, according to each person's preferences and necessities. The focus is on technique, understanding the basics, and musicality, always with a student-centered view. At this moment I teach in Savonia AMK in Kuopio since September of 2024, and I teach privately at Harppupuoti in Pohjois Haaga, Helsinki. Online lessons are also possible.
It is possible to book lessons of 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Get in touch!
